It is not often that a local athlete has a chance to make it to the Olympic level. It takes incredible talent, unwavering dedication and unbridled passion to even be in a position to make America’s Olympic Team. It takes someone "special.”
Holly is “special.” She is a supremely talented, very dedicated, highly skilled Equestrian rider who hopes to make it to the 2008 Paralympics to represent her town, state and country in the sport she loves - the sport of Dressage. With your help, She can do just that.
Beyond talent, no athlete in the modern era can reach the Olympics without substantial corporate backing. And competing in the elite sport of Dressage requires a unique level of financial commitment because there are two athletes competing as one - the rider and her horse. It is a difficult and expensive sport. But it is awe-inspiring and majestic. |
